  • How do I make a booking?
    Complete the online booking form. We'll confirm availability within 24 hours. Once your deposit is paid, your booking will be confirmed, and you'll be all set for your guests to share their unfiltered thoughts, memories, and well-wishes through recorded audio that you can cherish forever.
  • What deposit is required to secure my booking?
    To secure your booking, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. The final payment must be made 30 days before your event.
  • How long is the hire?
    Our standard hire period is 5 days. We'll dispatch your chosen phone 48 hours before your scheduled event, and arrange for the return postage the next working day after your event. If you need a longer return period, let us know when making your booking request. While extended returns are not guaranteed, we'll try our best to accommodate your request where possible.
  • What if I am having a destination wedding?
    Whilst we don't currently offer destination weddings, we'd be delighted to capture the moments of your UK wedding upon your return home. Feel free to book our services for your local celebration.
  • What if the date of my event changes?
    No need to worry—these things happen! If your new date is open, we'll transfer your booking at no additional cost. Unfortunately, if the new date is unavailable, you'll need to cancel your booking.
  • What if I need to cancel the hire?
    In the event of a cancellation, your 50% deposit is non-refundable, in accordance with the cancellation policy.
  • How do I record my personalised greeting message?
    Submit an MP3 file before your event, and we'll preload it onto your chosen phone for a seamless setup on the day! The simplest method is sending a voice message through WhatsApp, but feel free to use your preferred platform. As your big day approaches, we'll remind you to provide a greeting. If you're shy and prefer not to record a personalised message, let us know, and we can make alternative arrangements.
  • How do I set up the phone?
    Unbox your phone and simply power it on! Once turned on, guests only need to pick up the phone and leave a message after hearing your personalised greeting. But don't panic, we will still send you out a copy of our set-up instructions and we are available for phone support 7 days a week.
  • How do my guests leave a message?
    Your guests simply need to lift the phone from the receiver, record their message however long, funny or sentimental and place the phone back on the receiver to save their message. We also include an acrylic guide on how to use The Yorkshire Audio Guest Book, ensuring your guests understand how to leave a message.   • Does it require a landline connection?
    Nope, no landline or WiFi required!
  • Can I move the phone throughout the day?
    As long as you don't let your drunk Uncle Pete swing it around his head, your chosen Yorkshire Audio Guest Book is able to move around your venue. We find most couples do this to get a range of messages throughout their day, however please be careful with the device as any damages to the device will be charged accordingly.
  • What if the phone is stolen or damaged?
    Whilst hiring a Yorkshire Audio Guest Book, you're entrusted with its safety. If, regrettably, any of our phones are damaged or lost while in your care, please inform us promptly. Charges may be applicable for any incurred damages.
  • How do I power the phone?
    Your chosen phone will arrive fully charged and preloaded for a smooth setup on your event day, with a 1200mAh battery there is no need for unsightly power banks or cables.
  • When will I receive the phone?
    We post our phones via Royal Mail Special Delivery, to arrive 2-3 days ahead of your event.
  • How do I return the phone?
    Postage is included in the package price, using the original packaging, post the phone back to us using the pre-paid label included.
  • Do I have to pay for postage?
    No - this is included in the package price!
